Fishing Reports

Thursday 5/2 – Yankee Clipper 5AM-5PM Marsthon – bite was HOT all day and May is off to a great start. Customers and crew saw some healthy large haddock on the trip. Let’s go fishing this weekend.

Strong bite more than half the day with lots of good anglers on board. Slowed down for the last hour or two, but still fish coming up. Large haddock and some huge cusk. Lots of limits on haddock.

The spring haddock are feeding voraciously right now.  Lots of action!

We did 4 drifts today.  Second drift was the best with the biggest haddock.

It was a haddock slamathon on the Yankee Clipper today!

The productive haddock fishing continued on Friday’s charter marathon!

The Clipper crew reported a non stop Haddock bite today.  Limits for just about everyone on board.

4/14/2024 – Yankee Clipper – Gloucester, MA Wind breezed up to 20 knots just as we were getting the day started. After the tide change weather conditions improved. Experienced anglers had some nice bags of haddock and other species, but the bite was hot and cold.

Thursday 4/11 – Yankee Clipper – Gloucester, MA Steady bite again, this morning required sorting through and throwing back some undersized fish. A handful of anglers got their limit of haddock. Foggy all day and the weather never broke, people earned their fish today. Nicer days around the corner.

Steady bite throughout the day, some anglers had 10-12 keep haddock and a lot of people had 5-10. Nice large red fish coming on the boat too. The weather cooperates for most of the day and wind picked up in the afternoon.
