Yankee Fleet will begin their 2008 season at the Cape Ann Marina. We are working hard at getting our new location up and ready so in the mean time we are excited to run the first part of our season from a location that all are familiar with. We will inform all of our patrons as the weeks go as to when and where we will be moving! We are excited to get this season up and running! We hope to see all of you Tuesday April 1st! The whales have been extraordinarily abundant, thanks to the bait fish they are feeding on. Sand lance,the Humpback Whales preferred meal, are thick. The same abundance of bait fish is having a very positive effect on fishing, as well!

What a great season we are experiencing. This has been the best whale watching since 1988. The Haddock fishing has been wonderful.

This trip should be a lot of fun. We'll be on the 100 ft Lydia Yacht Yankee Freedom. We'll be taking a limited number of anglers, guaranteeing plenty of elbow room! There will be a light breakfast, gift items, a box lunch, even a barbeque dinner afterwards at the lovely Cape Ann's Marina Inn.

At Yankee Fleet we're catching fish, seeing a ton of whales, and having a lot of fun! The Half Day Fishing trips are great fun for the whole family with the added benefit of a family fish fry later at home. The Whale Watches this year have been extraordinary! Almost 70 miles, 112.9 km, west of Key West, Florida lies a cluster of seven islands called the Dry Tortugas. These islands, along with surrounding coral reefs and waters, make up the Dry Tortugas National Park. Snorkeling, kayaking, camping, legends of pirates and sunken gold have drawn visitors to this national park from all over the world.
